Sleep Positioner
I am back and forth on whether or not to use a sleep positioner in the bassinet part of the pack and play, which is where the baby will sleep for the first few months. If you are using one or plan to use one... which one are you using?

I got one for my shower and plan on using it. My friend loved hers for her baby and said the incline really helped her baby when she was congested...

I bought one for my 2nd and found it to be a total waste of money. He would *scootch* his little tush WAY down to the bottom of it so that the pillows were on either side of his face

Everyone told me to skip it so I did...although I got great advice in regard to it. Many people talk about the whole avoiding the flat head situation through tummy time as well as side positioning. I have had several people say to just roll receiving blankets up and prop them by the baby so that he supported when on his side...and like tummy time this should be monitored and during the day. Back sleep for night.

I heard it was totally unnecessary unless the baby suffered from acid reflux...also due to SIDS it is not recommended for use when they're so little.

There's really no need for one. If it's to be used on an incline for reflux, it's safer to just raise one side of the mattress (with nothing in the crib).
