Name Spelling - With Poll
DH and I cannot agree on how to spell our girl's name ( if we have a girl) so I thought I would put it out to a poll to see what the consensus is..... Gabriela or Gabriella.....

Just a thought..
which is most common? I ask this b/c my step daughters name is Kayleigh..she gets annoyed b/c people are constantly mispelling her name and she cant buy things with her name on them b/c although they have her name its spelled differently...

Gabriella...the other looks like Gabriel a to me (does that make sense? It looks like Gabriel with an 'a' at the end)

That is funny... my godaughter's name is Kayleigh spelled the same.....
I think the more common is the double LL...... Ive been REALLY pushing the single L, but looks like the consensus is DH is right........

2 LLs is more common - if you choose 1 L, her name will be mispelled her entire life - trust me, you don't want that!!!

I think it depends on your background. If you are Italian - I would do 2 Ls. If you are Spanish - just one. I'm sure other cultures use one or two - just have to find out.
