MY DH's Aunt is a Lunatic!!!
Dh's aunt was in town for a conference and wanted to see us for lunch. She is very excited about us having the twins and was anxious to speak with us!
She is also a high risk OBGYN nurse who works with diabetes woman and woman 40+ who are pregnant in San Francisco. She shot me questions left and right and of course, I had answers! I prepared myself for this "interview"
Then all of a sudden (as we are eating mind you) she says "So, how are your t*ts feeling?" I nearly fell off the chair. My DH (who is very quiet) was on my left and my FIL was on my right turned bright red! The worst part was she just blurted it out like "How are you today?"
And my DH thinks my family is nuts!

I have to say that it's hard when you are "in the field" not to talk "in a direct" manner.
Nurses, dr., medical field personel, etc..sometimes forget about putting it back in "every day" level for people.
Still.... I think it's funny! I can see how embarassed your DH would be.
