Sooooooooo worried - prayers please
I haven't posted for a while, but here I am now asking for prayers. I am a nervous wreck. DD will be 7 mos on the 6th, she had blood work done a week ago (blood work was routine as dd has sickle cell trait) and her ped sent a referral to a hemotologist. Apparently her lymphocytes are very high and her segs are very low. She has not been sick so these results don't make sense. My DH took the call from the ped and never gave me an indication that anything was wrong. The referral came in the mail yesterday with her lab results. Everything I look up on-line leads me to leukemia. I know I should not do this to myself, but I am so upset. I haven't eaten or slept. I just want to hug her and can cry when I do. I spent all day yesterday crying with worry. She has no other symptoms of leukemia and is such a happy baby and a great sleeper. She is pefect in every way. I know I will not rest until I get some answers from the hemotologist. Please say prayers for my little Jenna!

Try not to worry yourself so much, I know it's hard, but I would stop reading things on the internet.

You have to try to stay calm ... but I know from experience with health scares that it is near impossible.

I know it's not possible to stop worrying & I know if it were me, i wouldn't be able not to research it. Think of it this way...you're prepared yourself for the absolute worse case scenario. There are a million reasons and better outcomes why this could be happening.
