Solicitors?

I keep getting a call from AGN Networks--they say they are from Baby On Call and since I signed up for free samples they are verifying my info...I always say I am not available but I am on the DO NOT CALL list...anyone else get these calls????

Now I keep getting calls from the hospital photographer saying I am entitled to a free in home sitting.

Never heard of this place, but I would definitely tell them you're on the Do Not Call List and to remove your name and number immediately. No need to get annoying calls all the time!

I actually got 2 calls on my cell- first was a hang up the 2nd (next day) the lady got me---I only answered b/c it was a 212 # and I thought it was my brother. Anyhow, she went on about how I signed up n their website for free stuff, when I asked what kind of free stuff she said coupons and samples and all she needed to do was verify my information. I said I was busy and hung up.

I've had this problem also. They get your info from places that you shop or register. After I ordered something from motherhood.com, I started getting Parenting magazine in the mail. That wasn't so bad but then they sent me a bill for the magazines! When I called to find out why they were billing me, they said that motherhood.com had a promotion.

Also, I noticed a charge on my cc for $50 from Sports Illustrated. When I called, they told me that FinishLine (sneaker store at the mall) had a speacial offer & they automatically charge you unless you cancel the subscription. I didn't even know I had a subscription

Does anyone know how to prevent these companies from selling your info (besides the do not call list)?
