Re: Has anyone tried the cookie diet?

I thought this was a joke...I was about to reply with this:

YES, I have...the girl scout cookie diet! That's the one where you inhale an entire box of Samoas instead of sticking to weight watchers, and gain 2 lbs for the week!

Yes you only eat cookies. I did read on a message board that you can switch off a cookie for a salad or lean cuisine type meal.

But it is a cookie for breakfast, snack, lunch, and then another snack.

Then you eat a sensible dinner.Chat Icon

Re: Has anyone tried the cookie diet?*Updated - The cookies have arrived**

I just read an article on this and supposedly it is only an 800 calorie a day diet. Do you feel sluggish at all?

What do the cookies taste like? Are they big?

I don't feel sluggish at all but when I come home from work I am soooo ready for a "real" mealChat Icon

DH is doing it too and I never thought he would be able to because he is a big eater. But he finds it easy that is why he is still with it.

The cookie is a decent size. It is soft and thick. It has a lot of fiber and protein. It really fills you up. Sometimes I will only have 3 a day because I am so full.

Re: Has anyone tried the cookie diet?*Updated - The cookies have arrived**

only 800 calories? Chat Icon
Your body will go into starvation mode and your metabloism will drop significantly. That is extremely unhealthy, please be carefull!

I hope you eat more than that, and more quality foods as well, those cookies are all bad carbs.

sorry to sound so negative, I am just trying to help. Are you sure it is only 800 calories per day?

How long are you supposed to be on this diet for?

Those cookies really don't sound healthy. They are full of sugar and engriched wheat flour, not even whole grains. I hope it works for you, but I would definitely switch off and try to have "real" food at least once a day if I were you. Good Luck!

I am on the Hollywood one and it is $16-$20 for 3 days worth.

The "cookie diet" is $250 a month plus you have to go to the dr and get blood work done once a month.
