Ouch!
I feel like the ultimate moron! I fell down the stairs last night for like the 3rd time since we've moved into this house (only about 8 wks ago). I am so sore today I can barely move. Skipped gymboree with Ethan today as a result and I'm barely sitting up. DH had to go to work so he couldn't stay home to take care of DS. My mom will be visiting tomorrow so hopefully I can relax and recover.
I'm so not used to stairs - never lived in a house before and I am constantly slipping b/c of socks. We are going to get a carpet runner for the stairs but they are $$ so it will wait a few months...no more socks for me!
Here come the bruises!

I always fall down my stairs and I grew up in a house!!!!!
My sister in law has these stair rug treads on her stairs---they are less expensive then a rug and they might help with your situation!!!

that happened to me when we first moved in and we went to Home Depot and got a rug made into a runner and it cost less than $200. IMO so worth it than breaking my neck on the steps!!
