Anyone ever want to give up on the job search?
I know its still early but I just have a feeling this year will be like last year and the year before.
I regret moving from Florida because I had an awesome teaching job there. I am so ready to give up on teaching. I need to get a job in September.
It makes me so mad that I worked so hard for my master's and I can't even use it.
Anyone else feel this way??

YES! And when I almost did, I was called by the district I'm at now and I was hired on the spot!!!
It's been a long road, but next year is my TENURE YEAR!!!

I think about it everyday. I actually just accepted a promotion at my night job (that I hatae) because if I do not have a teaching job in September I will need the $$$.
I feel like I want to give up, but I won't. I just can't wait for my own classroom.

I did the same..my principal asked if I would like to move to another grade due to low registration. I of course said yes b/c I'm not happy with prek so I will be teaching first. However I would really love to get another job that pays more. It's so brutal out there! and very frustrating. I'm upset about it.

but then I think about all the hard work I went through to get here and I refuse to settle for anything less than what I deserve. something will come....it has to!!
