Re: Lawn
If it snows friday night, put seed down. Supposedly the snow brings the seeds down into the soil when it melts.
That's all I know - to seed during the last snow (if you can predict when that will be - LOL)

before. So the birds don't eat the seed and the snow pushes it into the ground as it melts.

Re: Lawn
I wonder how much BP Landscaping charges for a spring cleanup.
Last year I had Marcelos do it and they did a horrible job. I dont think they even put any fertilizer down.

We did this last year, it didnt seem to make much of a difference, but I think you have to do it a couple of years in a row to get anything good going.
Now, thinking of those chemicals, I'm not sure I want to do that to the earth.

Was fertilizer included in the cleanup? I looked into a cleanup at a couple of places, and most of those places charged huge amounts of money to just rake the grass and flowerbeds.

I have 2 puppies. The backyard is now off for any chemicals. All natural grass AND weeds.
I will just focus on front lawn.
