First Week in our Condo
Hi All,
Sorry, I don't have a computer set up so I'm so out of the loop. What a week. We've painted like crazy:
living room & hallway: BM lenox tan
dining room: BM top lenox tan, bottom merlot red
bathroom: BM kennibuckport green
bedroom: BM autumn gold
Mrs.Powers: we did have to prime every room except the bedroom because it was going over tan. A little added expense but worth it.
So tired of painting. Still have some touching up to do Friday night.
First drawbag, we pulled out the gross 1972 medicine cabinet to find out OF course its not a stock size and its surrounded by support beams so I've gotta get 1 size smaller and DH has to build around it, oh well. Cleaned the bejesus out of the place, chairrail in dining room is 75% up. Got a price quote for pergo in the living room & dining room. Too $$$ for now, maybe a 2008 project along with a new kitchen further down the line. The neighbors have so far been friendly. Security is great in Woodgate.
P.S. hate cablevision. After agreeing to the double play, it turns out that were unable to do a normal route for optimum voice so screw them, went with verizon after all and I'm keeping cablevision just for optimum online (since we get free cable with up to 70 channels). We are eventually gonna get a tivo anyway.
Whew, sorry to be so lengthy, just catching you all up. I'll take a batch of pics this Saturday/Sunday after we offically move our furniture in!

First of all congrats again on your condo! Secondly, the pictures are great and the painting looks awesome! I can't wait to see pictures with everything in it. Finally, thanks so much for the paint tips.
BTW, where did you end of buying the paint? DH just went to Aboff's yesterday to get the Saybrook Sage paint for our bedroom because of the 25% off green until Sunday. They were great!

Congrats again on the condo, Kerry!!! Sounds like you've been really busy this week!!!
