Re: Acid Reflux???
Acid Reflux/Heartburn is the most common annoyance of pregnancy! Buy a HUGE bottle of TUMS and it will become your best friend. Also, they have mini bottles to fit in your purse--the extra calcium can't hurt either!

Re: Acid Reflux???
I have never experienced this before in my life... and can only imagine it gets worse as the baby takes up more room!
Tums here I come!

Re: Acid Reflux???
Try not to lay down after eating...it makes it MUCH worse. Also, take note if it only happens after certain foods you eat. I only had it for a short time and then it went away...but most women have it the whole pregnancy I think from the stomach being smooshed and the food having nowhere to go but back up. I hope you feel better!!

This is so crazy...I just signed on to put up a post on the exact same thing!
Mine has been so bad that the burning acid is literally coming up into my mouth like throw up (sorry for the tmi). And at night, it makes me sooooo nauseated.
I always had a problem with reflux but now it is MUCh worse!
Does anyone have any suggestions to help with this?

Re: Acid Reflux???
It's so true what the previous poster said about not lying down after you eat! Also, I cannot chew TUMS to save my life, I gag, so my doctor said Pepcid is good too. The GI doc said it's probably a good idea to take it once daily to keep stomach acid down. HTH!
