My DH didn't read anything either. Didn't ask when I scheduled stuff for, he knew I would let him know when it was. You should see him now with the kids, he's a big mush. I'm sure your DH will come around too.

what do you want him to read? DH expects me to tell him what comes next and to explain to him what is going on. He doesn't know how I am feeling or what the next step is. He never even stepped foot into a gyn/ob office until I got a positive on a PG test.

DH did not really have an interest in reading. He prefers when I give me a "short" version. Which is fine.
He is VERY involved in the pregnancy but we still have to remember that we cannot talk baby 100%. Just like talking wedding planning all the time.
Maybe your DH needs time for other topics and feels the baby is absorbing all your thoughts.
While this is true that this is a wonderful adventure, we need to remember that we are also a couple and need to cherish the personal aspect of it.

Sorry  I think DH's have some issues with being left out of the feelings a little. My DH happens to be really into the whole thing but at first, he wasnt acting any different at all. He even admitted that now that I am showing a little, he cant forget that we are going to be parents.
Talk to him and tell him how you feel. We are here for you!

My DH barely reads anything. Once in a while he will find an article on baby stuff. He expects me to tell him everything. Its annoying but men are just different. I try not to talk about the baby stuff every single minute of the day.

mine wasn't interested until we saw the bean actually moving and then at the Level 2....forget it.
Never read anything, watched a few shows PG related
But once he felt her kick....
and then when she was born.....that's when it's ALL over for a man. SERIOUSLY.

Same here, once he felt her kick, she already had him wrapped around her little fingers.
He's such a mush and softie with her, way more so than me.
