I dont know what to do?
What do you guys do when your dc has a cough...Megan is only 4 months old so meds are out of the question..I dont want it to settle in her chest. I am keeping her straight up as much as possible but what else??
Also, do you think a warm bath would make it worse or better from your experience. I am not sure what to do..I hate seeing my baby like this.

we went through this with Ella this week. Steamy baths helped loosen the congestion - we also used a humidifier in her room and vapor rub on her chest. It was a rough 3 days but she's MUCH better today.
Also, my ped recommends a water "chaser" after feedings.

My Ped told me not to give medicine to DS when he had a cough last week and he is 7 months now. He just said to leave it alone.

I have a vicks mild type vaporub, also I have a cough syrup for babies that is just glycerol to lubricate things. My doctor says to rub mild vicks on the baby's chest after a warm bath!
