UGH! just be careful! DH and I came down with a HORRIBLE virus on Christmas day! I won't go into details but it was not pretty. it started out with us being lightheaded, then nauseous.

Take it easy today. It could be a lot of things, so I don't want to recommend anything to you. Just take it easy and put some of the things you have to do off for another day...your health is more important. If it persists, call your doctor. You may be coming down w/ something (I get dizzy when I get a sinus infection) or it could be AF or a migraine, etc. Feel better!

I felt the same way today around the same time as you, we were out to lunch and I felt so dizzy, but I had a lot of pressure in my nose and head, so I think its my allergies, this weather isn't helping.....

ALLERGIES!!!!
I get them all the time... My Doctor said that this year has been worse than previous years for some reason. So, people who have never had them before are getting them.
I get lightheaded, feel like I'm in a fog, tired, dizzy, etc etc etc!! It's the worst but I take a Sudafed and everything gets much better.
They also have Claritin over the counter and a few others... But I love Sudafed (just make sure it is the one you get behind the cashier- they keep it up there b/c it has a drug in it that kids have been using to make speed or something- so, as of a few months ago you need to sign a waiver saying you won't make speed lol) but that is the one that works- the one that is on the shelf is "dumbed down" and does not work as well AT ALL...
So just ask for it at a local CVS or something (behind the counter either in the Pharmacy or at the register) and have your License handy.

Re: I am SO lightheaded
Thanks everyone I do have bad allergies, but haven't felt like this before. If it was allergies would I have any other symptoms? I don't have a stuffy nose, itchy eyes or anything. I was supposed to run to the store, luckily DH said he'd go for me, so I'll just take it easy. I really hope it doesn't turn into anything else. Thanks again for the suggestions & responses

YES! This is what it feels like! Did it just go away on it's own?

Re: I am SO lightheaded
For me, I can have watery eyes and a runny nose along with the "in a fog" feeling and then- I can have only the "in a fog" feeling with NO other symptoms! It's so strange.
And I never know when it is going to strike! Today was bad for me b/c the weather was unusually warm... That is when it is real bad along with when it is cloudy, rainy, etc.
It couldn't hurt to take two sudafed's and see if it goes away
Feel better!

I had a 24 hour virus the day after Christmas - I was puking my brains out! It went away by late that night. I hate that kind of virus!!! Feel better!!!
