Wow... I want this
DH and I were innocently perusing house sales in our area (we're house-flipping junkies), and we stumbled on this doozie. Built by one of the most famous architects in the Philly area. There are two other estate/mansions built by this guy about a block away from us and I always drool when I walk by... I'm in love. Needs a total interior gut, and it would be a serious step down in terms of square footage for us... but really, I'm in love:

It's true, and all of his houses are like that. These two are within a half block of where I live, and I'm always drawn to them. Unfortunately, one is in TOTAL disrepair and I wouldn't be suprised if they tear it down soon. Image Attachment(s):

Probably a lot considering it's an acre of land. We live about 2 miles away and our taxes are about $10k per year, which is a lot for PA

I used to have a friend who lived/grew up in Elkins Park - her house was gorgeous too! I cannot believe the price!! That would be at least double the price on LI!

Well, I knew it was too good to be true! Even that price was way too low for our area for a house like that... it's deceptive advertising - apparently it's TWO houses - the ad is for a TWIN. And for THAT, they're asking WAYYYYY too much for this area
