BFP This Morning
Sorry for the incognito name, but I am in total shock!!!!! I want to confirm before I reveal. 
So .. what do I do now? 
Call the doctor? Will they see me this early (I think I am 5 weeks)? I am a nervous wreck but sooo excited and just want to make sure I do things 'right'!

Congratulations!
Definitely call your doctor and let them know that you tested positive. They will either see you right away or wait until about the 7th week to have you come in and probably do an internal sonogram to see the heartbeat and go over everything with you.

First Congrats!!!!!
Yes call your doctor right away - most won't see you until 6-8 weeks - but some might want to see you sooner if you are high risk or have some other issues.
Are you taking prenatals? You might want to ask them when you call about prenatals and if you need to take extra folic acid (in addition to the prenatals) or calcium.
Some people prefer to have blood work done to confirm the pregnancy - not everyone does this - that is up to you and your doctor.

congrats, if the doctor wont see you right away buy your own prenatals... I got mine at Walgreens and took them until my first appointment at 6 weeks...

Thank you! I am definitely calling today. I was hoping that I could get a confirmation from the doctor so I could announce it to our parents at Christmas.

I just called my doctor. I have an appointment on January 8th. In the meantime I am getting a prescription for prenatals. I was also told to take another test tomorrow to be sure (since yesterday afternoon I tested negative) This morning's positive was FMU so I am assuming that was the difference.
This is so exciting. I cannot believe it's really happening!
