Moving Estimate
Do you think that in four hours I can get two men to move the following?
-- queen-sized bed -- coffee table -- three floor-to-ceiling bookshelves -- kitchen table -- four chairs for the table -- recliner -- 42 inch TV -- pedestal table (really tiny) -- 25-30 boxes
I'm moving from a two-story walkup in Long Beach (I'm on the top floor) to a house in East Rockaway. It takes about 15 minutes to get from LB to the house.
What do you think? Please guess.

Re: Moving Estimate
I paid $1400 for about the same amount of stuff but not a walk up
call moveco- they are really good and fair
I don't have the number with me- but you could google it or do a serach on here
I didn't want to risk moving the TV myself- they did a great job!

$1400! How long did that take for them to do?

Re: Moving Estimate
I used Leonetti Brothers for my move from Hoboken to Manhasset. I was on the 3rd story of a walk-up and my condo was a duplex so there was another set of stairs inside. I had a queen size bed, headboard, oversized dresser, mirror desk, oversized nightstands, pull out sofa, chair, coffee table, tv stand, 19" tv, end table, 3 pictures, pub table and chairs, small server and mirror. It came to about $1400 as well, but the ride from NJ to Manhasset added on another hour, as well as an hour for them just to get to NJ.
