HE IS HOME: Foster Care Update
I wanted to give my final Update to the LIF Clan:
AJ is home with us and we are his Legal Guardians!! At the last minute the Baltimore Caseworker said they can go for custody instead of us being his foster parents.When the Judge said "we hereby award Legal guardianship", I cried. It was the best the day of my life.
This child is truly an angel, he transitioned so well it was amazing. He didnt cry when we took him after the court hearing. He sleeps through the nights, he is running around the house playing and chasing the dog. And he looks for me and calls me Mama

I just read your entire story about this. Let me just say, you and your hubby are nothing short of amazing. As a foster care caseworker myself, I see the ins and outs, highs and lows of it everyday. It's a rarity to come across people like you who do this for the RIGHT reasons. I'm so happy to hear AJ is home with you and am so happy this little boy has a stable, loving home now.
