My Dh does not have a diaper> bag>.
In mine I have a small hand sanitzer, diapers, small pack of wipes, extra pacifers in a small pacifer case, small tubes of aquafor for diaper> changes, pacifer wipes, diaper> disposal bags, a dreft stain pen (life saver!), a few small toys.
Each trip I'll throw extras in - like a change of clothes, some baby food, bottles etc..

My DH does not have his own bag>. I got a unisex bag> (it is a very plain green bag>) and DH uses it when he takes DD out.
Best idea ever! He also holds it for me when we are together with no complaints!
Diaper> Bag>: diapers wipes antibacterial gel changing mat bib change of clothes pajamas tissues a few quiet toys little baggies (that are supposed to be for dog poop LOL) light blanket
(now I also keep things like a sippy cup, bottle of water, spoon - but that is b/c DD is older)

My diaper> bag> has evolved a little since I first posted what was in it 2 months ago. So now at 4 months, here's what I have in my diaper> bag>:
-pouch with diapers -wipes travel case -ziploc bag> with extra onesie and pants/shorts -empty ziploc bag> for wet clothes -RTF formula (just in case) -bottle, pre-filled with water -single-use formula power sticks -pre-measured formula compartment thingy -bib -pacifier in pod (clipped to bag>) -diaper> disposal bags (clipped to bag>) -hand sanitizer (clipped to bag>) -aden & anais burpy bib/burp cloth -baby einstein musical toy -diaper> changing pad (came with bag>) -coupons -universal large clip to clip bag> to shopping cart -a&d ointment -aveeno diaper> rash cream (I rarely use either when we're out though)
That's it for now.
DH does not have a separate diaper> bag>. So that's everything. We do have a mini-bag> that I keep in the car that has just diaper> changing essentials. We use the sling backpack we got from the hospital when DD was born. In that, I have a small receiving blanket, a waterproof pad (to change her on), diapers, a pack of thick care wipes, hand sanitizer, another paci in pod, and diaper> disposal bags. I use that one when we're going somewhere and I know she won't have to eat or anything just in case I need to change her. Plus DH is fine with carrying that one since it just looks like a little backpack. I got a keychain with DD's name on it that I hooked to that since it's a popular one around here for people to carry so it's obvious it's hers.

Great idea! I use the sling backpack every single day - LOVE IT!! I only use my green diaper> bag> when I am out for the entire day without the stroller (otherwise I just stick extra stuff in the stroller)
I know when we go to Mommy&Me, three of the moms use it! LOL

I have a bigger diaper> bag> and DH has a Diaper> Dude with less stuff, just the essentials.
In my bag> I carry a JuJuBe BeQuick (large wristlet) with diapers, wipes, vaseline, tylenol, disposable changing pad. This is perfect for when we need to change him - just grab this and it has everything we need. Or for going into a store, etc.
Then in the rest of my diaper> bag>: Change of clothes Boogie sucker (nose aspirator) PJs (in case we're out a bit late) Toy(s) Hand sanitizer Aden & Anais muslin blanket (I use it to keep him warm, to put over his stroller if he naps, etc) Gerber yogurt and spoon (this yogurt does not need to be refrigerated! Perfect for when you're out) Sippy cup
DS just carries diapers, wipes, changing pad, tylenol, sippy cup, change of clothes.

We actually use DH's bag> now which is a backpack instead of mine (I have a Skip Hop Studio). It works since we have less to carry with an older child (18 months). I definitely had a lot more when he was little.
Diapers Wipes One change of clothes Food/snacks/cups/bottles for the day A few small books to entertain him Diaper> cream/baby powder Garbage bags A small first aid kit with band aids Antibacterial gel Sunscreen Spoon and fork

At 9 months:
1. Diapers (about 5) 2. Wipes 3. Desitin 4. A&D 5. Disposable bibs (about 3) 6. RTF formula (2 bottles) 7. Jar baby food (2 jars) 8. Puffs or Mums 9. Toys (2) 10. Changing pad 11. PJ (in case he poos through his clothing) 12. Ziplock bag> with nipple for RTF bottle and a spoon
I used to have more stuff... hand sanitizer, ect. I just never used it, so kicked it out of the bag>.
DH has his own bag>. I don't think he has anything up to date in it. He meant well.

DH and I do not use a diaper> bag>. We both have one, but just found them to be 1 more thing that we needed to carry.
We just keep some diapers, wipes, and a changing pad in the stroller.
Now that the boys are 12mo, I also bring a sippy cup and snacks when we go out, but usually just toss them in my bag>.

Re: BTDT: What goes in your <span style="background-color: #FFFF66; color: #000000;">diaperspan> <span style="background-color: #99CCFF; color: #000000;">bagspan>? same for DH's?
DH and I started off with our own seperate diaper> bags, but now we both just use the one, since it came with loops to put around the stroller handles for it to clip onto (lifesaver!!). Also it helps that it is the bag> that DH picked to be 'his' so he has no problem carrying it when we need to.
DS is 2 months old and we have:
8 diapers a small tub of vaseline A refill pack of wipes (The travel size just wasn't enough for if we are out all day and DS has a blow-out) Changing pad (came with bag>) Little bags for dirty diapers (also seconds as bags for dirty clothes) Extra paci Bib and bottle (if I have pumped milk with me) Hat for DS (now that the summer is here) Sweatshirt for DS Socks Receiving blanket - will use sometimes if we are in a well AC'd store for a while - especially if he is napping 3 onesies Back-up outfit A pair of PJs Travel size paci-wipes Travel size face wipes Hand Sanitizer My phone, wallet, keys - and sometimes even my iPad That day's lipstick/lip balm
DH wonders how I fit everything in there, but if I keep it organized I can fit all that and even my camera. We keep 'my' diaper> bag> stocked with all of that as well as a back-up. We had a couple of times where we got in at 11 (or later) and had to be out the door at 6 or 7 the next morning. In that case we will grab my bag> for the day because it is hard enough to get the 3 of us up and out in that time (which means that I'm getting up at 4 or 5), so I'd rather grab the extra few minutes sleep rather than have to restock a diaper> bag>. In my car we also keep a bag> with about 10 more diapers, a pack of wipes, and a tube of vaseline...just in case I was totally out of it and missed something in our main bag>.

We both have diaper> bags... each has diapers, wipes, disposable bags for dirty clothes/dirty diapers. A wash cloth, change of clothes, extra socks, wet wipes for hands/face, paci, bottle(s), bib, burp cloth, changing pad.
And whatever we need for the day like toys, extra formula, and I keep a makeup bag> with my wallet, chapstick, phone, and other little things for me so I can always find my stuff in the choas
