I took a practice building seminar (I'm a massage therapist) and they recommended blogging as a way to connect with your clients and to build your practice ... I'm just getting into it and need to update more often. Feel free to critique:

I have 3 blogs. One is for web 2.0 related topics meant for librarians and teachers to read, one is a virtual media center where students can read about recommended authors and they can post reviews, and the third is a "news from the library" one for my school.

I blog about my pregnancy for friends and family who live out of state or I don't get to see to frequently. I have it password protected though. I do it through iWeb and host it on my mobile me.

I used to have a very active Live Journal where I mostly wrote about the epiphanies I had with raising a son on my own and the dating life of being a single mother.
I now throw a few comical prose about the brilliance that comes out of my son's mind...(in LIF's blog)

I blog about anything, but mostly about our house. We bought a handy man special so I post updates with pictures for our parents. they live outside the country and they can post opinions and give us ideas.

The plan is to take a picture of what ever strikes me at some point during the day where ever I may be.

I have a blog about my house renovation. I only blog about specific topics that have a finite start and end. I also blogged about recovering from my arm surgery.

I just started one about my pregnancy and getting ready for baby.
When I give birth- it will be good for family and friends to see the baby pics and stay in touch.
BIL and SIL are constantly traveling since BIL is in the Air Force...they started one for all that goes on in their lives for family and friends.
