Activities for 18-24 month old
DD is 18 months and very smart/active. I am looking for some new things to do with her that are fun and educational. Here are some of the things we during the day.
1. Puzzles - Shapes, Vehicles, Animals and Alphabet 2. Flash Cards - Animals, Shapes, Numbers and other misc 3. Coloring 4. Sing songs - ABC Song, Wheels on the bus, itsy bitsy spider and many others 5. Dance to music 6. Legos (Mega Blocks) 7. Bubbles
We also play with her other toys. I am getting bored and want to add some new things to our day. Any ideas?

DS is 21 months, we do playdoh, finger paints & stickers, go to the library and pick out books, shape sorter and we play a lot with cars, trains etc. One of his favorite things to do is go for a 'nature' walk outside with his little bucket and collect acorns, leaves etc.

In addition to what you do, we do play-doh and baking - he loves to mix and help in the kitchen. Sometimes I give him a bag (not plastic) and play grocery store in the kitchen - I basically let him rummage through my pantry and cart around items

Re: Activities for 18-24 month old
I bought a very informative book called "The Toddlers Busy Book" - $10 Had some great ideas
ETA: One line from the book said if you fail to prepare, prepare to fail
I NOW RETURN YOU TO THE ORIGINAL POST: THere were a few for tissue paper crafts so I googled "tissue paper crafts, toddlers" and found some good ideas.
I did rubber stamps with my DS the other day - he is very proud of his "pig paper"
His teachers birthday is around thanksgiving - i'm going to get the pull apart cookies and let him help
My mom said she did a lot with brown grocery paper bags - we cut eyes, noses and made masks. She let us jump in them like potatoe sacks.
ETA: Here is a link I found: Toddler Crafts
