What do you wash your bathroom floors with?
Do you use a mop? Some kind of wet swiffer type thing?
I have small bathrooms so I have always just sprayed cleaner on the floor and cleaned them by hand on my hands and knees with paper towels.
But there has to be a better way.
I have mop that I use for my tile floor in my kitchen/entrance way but I always felt odd using it in the bathroom.
Do you have a separate mop for the bathroom?
Why is this so befuddling to me?

Sometimes I use the swiffer, sometimes I just spray cleaner on the floor and clean it by hand. I'd just use the swiffer though! You're changing the pad anyway.

Re: What do you wash your bathroom floors with?
I vacuum the bathroom floor with the hose attachment and then clean it by hand with lysol wipes or sometimes a wet swiffer

Yeah the swiffer I'd be fine with. (I don't have one anymore) It's my hurricane mop that I use for the kitchen and hallway that skeeved me using it in the bathroom.
Maybe I'll get a swiffer again... I just wonder if it would clean as well as me on my hands and knees.

Honestly, it doesn't- that's why I sometimes get on my hands and knees to get in those grooves. But if I'm just doing a quick clean, the swiffer works. I probably wouldn't use my hurricane mop on it either, whether or not that makes sense.. I mean it's going to be bleached and cleaned so it's not like you're mopping your front hall with toilet water... but I totally get where you're coming from.

Same here, I have a small bathroom. I use handi-wipes on the swiffer, then just toss them when I'm done. Around the toilet gets wiped with clorox wipes, you know, men just can't pee in the toilet, they have to splash all over.

Re: What do you wash your bathroom floors with?
I vacuum first (i have 2 shedding dogs) then I clean it with Lysol cleaner by hand with its own designated sponge and then dry with paper towel.
My bathrooms are small. So using a mop won’t work in the corners , side of toilet, under vanity, etc. without leaving dog hair everywhere

I spray it and then use my regular mop. It has microfiber covers, I use the same one and just do the bathrooms last. Occasionally I use a rag and do it by hand or use the steam mop.

Re: What do you wash your bathroom floors with?
I actually do have a separate mop for the bathrooms. I refuse to use my kitchen one in there and vice versa.
Sometimes, I will spray the floor with my Clorox spray; and use my foot with wipes to clean it up. The floor isn't that big.

Vacuum first, then I use a spray mop - it has changeable and washable pads. I use a clean pad for any room I'm cleaning.

Re: What do you wash your bathroom floors with?
I use the swiffer wet jet, (the one that you add the bottle of cleaner to) for all my floors. The pads are disposable so I just change them.

Glad I am not alone in this. I thought I was the only one doing it on my hands and knees! But i guess with all the things to work around- toilet, vanity etc, it makes a mop harder to use.

I used to do this, my kitchen floor too, but my knee replacements won't let me kneel anymore. So swiffer it is, and then I just bend down to get into the corners and around the toilet. Not easy on the back though.

Funny you mention the knees- my knees are bad. They are really starting to bother me lately and the whole getting down on my hands and knees thing is getting harder. That's another reason I asked!

This for me too.
Personally, I'd use the mop you have if you want. It's just a floor.

LMAO. I clean for when company comes over. I have this newly renovated bathroom that is gorgeous, so much so that I don't use it anymore. I made it a guest bathroom and I filthy up my DH's bathroom for my daily life. So this one only needs a wipe down once in awhile when guests are coming!
But so glad I am not alone.

Hand and knees. Or sometimes I use the Bona Handle but have a designated bathroom only cloth for it.
