Q- Birthday party for siblings
My son was invited to a birthday party of a former classmate. When I got the invite the party was listed for the kid in his class and his brother. Does this mean that I have to buy two gifts, even though technically my son doesn't know the brother?

No. Only buy a gift for the person you know.

Re: Q- Birthday party for siblings
You just buy for your son's friend. The guest that are going for the sibling will buy for him.

Re: Q- Birthday party for siblings
You can ,you don’t have too
It’s nice if you do,fine if you don’t
My kids parties are together and sometimes classmates from the other class get the other a gift and it’s super nice and sometimes it’s just for the one in the class
Either way is wonderful

Q- Birthday party for siblings
I would just get for the child in your son's class. There are SO many bday parties and presents to get these days, to feel obligated to get for a sibling seems insane. Im sure the parents of the child would not expect you to get two gifts just because they chose to have a joint party
