WWYD re: Florida trip
We are taking our sons to Legoland in a few weeks in Florida. I didn't realize how far it is from the airport so now I am renting a truck. I was doing some research on it last night and I see that most people think that Legoland is a 2 day max thing. We are arriving on Saturday and staying until Monday. Our flight is like 10 pm. on Monday night. I have 2 day passes to Legoland. I figured the one day we'll do the amusement park and the other day the water park. What would you do the third day? Should we do Sea World? Or go back to Disney for the day? Should I stay put and do Legoland again? Should I do Legoland Saturday, something else Sunday and the waterpark Monday? Or any other suggestions? We are flying out of Orlando.

Does the resort have a nice pool?
When do you actually get there? By the time you travel, won’t it be 2 or 3 by the time you get settled?
I’d probably use a travel day to relax and go out to a nice dinner.

Re: WWYD re: Florida trip
I agree with seeing what time you get there... I never do anything the first day except pool and dinner. My kids also love the mini golf in the area.
Also, you can have a better idea when the weather forecast comes out. If it rains, you won’t want to go to a water park. FB has lots of sunny pictures of Florida, but I’ve gone often and learned not to make super concrete plans! Even if you want a day at Disney (which isn’t terrible in the rain), you will be able to book things a day or two out!

Re: WWYD re: Florida trip
Thanks for responding! Maybe having a low key day when we get there is a good idea. I just don't want my son to be pumped to go and then have to listen to "when are we going???" on a 22 second loop for hours on end. LOL But that's probably the best thing to do. Thanks!

Are you staying AT Legoland? I've heard that some kids love the hotel so much that they think it IS the park. LOL. There are lots of activities to do at the hotel, so when we go later this year, we plan to just check out the hotel the day we arrive.

We are staying at the Beach retreat. I'm also reading that people wish they had more time to use the amenities there so maybe we will just hang out then. My kids will be thrilled with the pool area.
