American Girl Dolls or any 18inch doll house
Does anyone have a dollhouse for the American Girl dolls (or any other 18inch doll)? If so, which house do you have and does it get used. Am debating on getting one but they are not cheap and I wonder if it is something useful or just another thing to take up space in the house

So I went to Ikea this week, and bought a couple of the STUVA bookcase shells. I started working on one today, and it didn't take that long! Came out so cute too! I used Contac paper for the wood floor and wallpaper, and put up tap lights on the ceiling. It was all pretty easy to be honest!!

Then I put them on their sides and stacked two. I want to do a third with her other furniture. PS, my DD LOVED this gift!

Thanks! I just love the way it came out! For the hotel floor, I used pink striped cardstock on the walls with double sided tape. I put that over the contact paper. That contact paper was from Target. Walmart also has some nice designs I saw. The tap lights are also from Dollar Tree...they stick right on and work great so far! Also, the chandeliers are xmas ornaments, you can find some on clearance now! The picture frames on the walls are also ornaments that were natural color from Michaels, and I painted them. I stuck them up with this putty stuff from Michael's that is reusable.
These bookcase things are REALLLY heavy, so when you stack them, you need help lifting them! Also, they do slide around on top of each other, so when I move them in their permanent spot, I'm going to attach them together
