Star Wars for little kids?
Since we're going to Disney soon, I want to introduce the kids to Star Wars. They actually liked meeting the characters last time we went, but they had no idea who they were.
My older girls are 3 and 5. What are good Star Wars movies or shows for them? We have The Force Awakens, but they weren't interested.

Re: Star Wars for little kids?
My DD has zero interest in Star Wars at 7 years old so I am not sure I feel like it's something they are either into or they are not

This is probably true. My kids are almost 3 and 5.5 and they both like star wars. My younger one watches bits and pieces and likes all the droids. My older dd has watched every movie and blows dh's mind with how well she understands the plot. I, on the other hand, can't stand any of them.

I bought A New Hope tonight. DD1 wanted me to read the intro and then lost interest. DD2 was asking for Trolls, so I turned it off.

Re: Star Wars for little kids?
We watched the first 3 movies with our 5&7 year old this year.
The 7 year old loved it... boy and good va bad was awesome for him. He has no interest in watching it again though.
The 5 year old has zero interest.
Though both really like fighting with light sabers.

there are a lot of little kid books about star wars-- like the " I can Read" leveled reader type books. So you could get some of those out of the library or something to kind of introduce the characters and stuff in an easy way. My 7 year old also has a "Five Minute Star Wars Stories" book that he got when he was five that is cute, too....

Re: Star Wars for little kids?
DS is a HUGE Star Wars fan. He had absolute zero interest in it until he did the Jedi Training at Disney and fought Darth Vader when he was 5. Now - I think our life revolves around Star Wars...

Re: Star Wars for little kids?
They also have the Star Wars Clone Wars animated series, that might pique their interest since it's a cartoon. And as an adult Star Wars lover, it's actually pretty good. I think it's on Netflix.

Star Wars for little kids?
My almost 3 year old loves Star Wars. These books were a great introduction to the story for him and helped him learn all the characters. https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Little-Golden-Library/dp/0736434704
He also watches Star Wars Rebels with my husband, which is an animated show on Disney XD.
