Great article on rural areas in the Hudson Valley and places to visit

Being born and raised, and still own my childhood home in one of the towns mentioned I find this article very interesting. The area has changed a LOT since growing up, but some of the charm still remains. I personally am happy of the changes...though I know a lot of the older locals are not.

Has anyone been to any of these towns or places mentioned? How was your experience?

Yes... we visit especially in late summer (hiking), fall and winter (for ski).
Yes... tons of Brooklyn people now (and food trucks).
But it’s nice that the chefs and restaurant owners get the extra business... if only they could plan for it (Cold Spring is a mess).
