Spinoff to sleeping through the night

Belly sleep! She liked it better and she could lift her head and turn it on her own. I tried it with naps first so I could watch her and she showed me she could do it. She was also starting to roll on her own, so I knew I wouldn't be able to keep her on her back all the time.

Nothing helped, but time. 3 months is still very young to be STTN.

This.
God himself could have come down, pointed at her and said- YOU WILL SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT.
And she would have been like- yeah right.

you don't do anything. At 3 months you can't make them do anything. They either do or don't. And at 3 months if I even got 4 hrs it was a miracle.

Re: Spinoff to sleeping through the night

My DD is now 5 months so obviously older than your child. My pediatrician says that by picking her up and nursing her, I'm creating a sleep association and she may expect it all the time. He says that since she is gaining weight fine, she doesn't need the middle of the night feeding. Of course, he acknowledges that it's our decision and that if I don't mind getting up, then I can continue to attend to her.
