Children's Bedroom Furniture?
Where do you recommend going? Looking to buy DD a twin bed, mattress, nightstand, and dresser. Don't want to break the bank but would like all wood construction. Located in Farmingdale (the land of furniture store on 110) but would like personal recommendations! Thanks!

Re: Children's Bedroom Furniture?
Gothic or IKEA.
I have had both good and bad experiences with IKEA... but all my children's furniture experiences there have been very good. They do have some items that are all wood (and a bit pricier). Their furniture so far has outlasted my very pricey furniture store stuff for kids!
ETA: for the mattress, try Costco. I got an amazing price on a great mattress there.

Children's Bedroom Furniture?
Anyone have opinions on Bob's? Raymour & Flannigans?
I don't have any experience with them but I see them advertised a lot.

Bob's is cheap but the quality is not great.
I like Raymour. We got DD's bedroom set there and it is very good quality

This.
Our bedroom furniture is from Bobs and it stinks. Looking to replace with something that will last longer term.
Our kids have a bunk bed from R&F and it has held up nicely. We've had it now for 2.5 years and no issues.

Bob's quality is bad? How does it compare to Ikea?
I heard Ikea is particle board and bad quality - but it seems to last for us.

I haven't bought from Bob's, but I've heard the quality is awful - much worse than IKEA. I have many pieces of furniture from Raymour and am very happy.

Way worse than Ikea Avoid if you can. I am sure it's fine if you are just starting out and looking to save money but in the end it will cost you more because it won't last and you will have to replace it

Ikea has some sturdy pieces these days. I have a dresser from there, and it's solid! Not sure about kids stuff, but I don't think it's the fall apart, cheap crap like it used to be years ago.
