Family vacation in Nov

Looking to go away with the family in Nov during NJ teacher conferences. Just a few days.
Don't want to spend a fortune, but something fun.
We have already done DC and Boston.
Anything reasonable in PA or Upstate NY without breaking the bank. Not Rocking Horse.

Is Kalahari worth going a few days?
Any other ideas?

Something driving distance the most 4 hours.

Thanks!

Yes, Kalahari is great. They opened another section now too so it's even bigger.
How many days were you planning on going?

3 days would probably be enough there.
We have done 2 nights and it seemed perfect.
