definitely not a hydrangea. Hard to tell because the picture is so small. How tall is it ? What do the leaves look like ?

I would say this or possibly Milkweed. Pic is still not that clear.......but I would go with those two guesses.

We've lived in our house for a couple of years now. This plant just sproted flowers this year.
