Thank you everyone. I am so sorry for all you guys have gone through with your fur babies.
I took him to the vet this morning and she said it was time. She said I could wait a a few days or weeks but he isn't going to get better. She said within 3-4 weeks he will be worse and she is right because he is worse now than he was 3 weeks ago.
We have decided to let him go as peacefully as possible and in his home where he will be comfortable and not afraid.
The service I posted about in an earlier post is coming on Thursday.
I'm so sorry. I know it's gut wrenching but you are doing what's best for him.
They can't tell you when it's time, you have to be strong enough to make that choice.
Sometimes we hold on longer than we should because it's such a hard thing to do, to make that decision.

I'm sorry. You and your family will be in my thoughts all week. My dog is 14 and I don't look forward to the day when we have to make this decision.

I'm so sorry. I've been it many times myself and it never gets any easier. He is lucky to be surrounded by such a loving family.
