Date night suggestions? For tonight
Got an opportunity for a last minute date night with DH tonight... and we are taking it! Babysitter can come at 930 and stay till whenever but we want to get home by 2. Live in Queens but don't mind driving wherever (no train). We want to be able to talk so no movies.
Any suggestions???

If you're near Bayside, somewhere on Bell? Fino - Wine Bar & Tapas, Apertif- nice bar area, Bourbon Street - has rooftop bar, One Station Plaza - Old Sullivans that is now a beer garden.

Date night suggestions? For tonight
You're a rock star. I'll be asleep by 9:30. I read your post and when I saw "we want to get home by 2" I thought to myself "Oh my god, like as in AM?!". Clearly I'm old and lame. Hope you had a great time!

Don't feel lame... Most nights I'm passing out on the couch at 9:30 (if my kids are done calling us & are actually asleep that is!) OR trying to catch up on chores

I was wondering too!!!
We drove down to Long Beach, walked the boardwalk (I was surprised how many people were there that late!), then we went to a (24/7) diner & just chatted for a few hours. Very casual & nice just to get out alone together.
