Husbands 40th
Hi everyone. My husband is turning 40 in September. He is originally from Pennsylvania and all of his family and most of his friends currently lives there. He is also recently unemployed. ?? So not make coworkers are still in the picture...We have some couple friend, but not many. We have two small children. I want to do something for his birthday, something to make him feel special on his birthday. He is totally into movies, music, NYC, burgers and beer kinda guy. I was thinking about an adult movie theater birthday with booze and getting it catered with wings or something. Does that sound stupid and childish?? Any other ideas? He's not big into making a big deal out of his birthday, but I want to try to do something cool. Thanks for your opinions and ideas!

whatever will make him happy is ok, movies,drinks and a few friends sound perfect. Keep it light :)

I think it sounds like a great idea! My DH also loves movies and would totally love something like that.
