best time of year to go to NOLA?
How is it there in October? I'm open to any month really as long as I can take a dip in a pool. I'm wanting to go for our 10 year anniversary. We never go away alone since we have 3 kids. Is 4 days, 3 nights sufficient in nola? Any recs for romantic & fun things to do? I'd probably want to go on a plantation tour. I'm browsing cute little B&B's to stay in.

best time of year to go to NOLA?
October is great. It cools down a lot for the humid,muggy swamp summer and hurricane season. 3 nights 4 days is plenty.
We did a plantation tour and loved it. We did oak alley and Laura plantation.
We stayed at the ritz so can't help with b&b.
