Where can I take my 6 month olds?
I'm home until 3 today and they are 6 months old today. Was hoping to take them somewhere, just to get out and see something new. We have done the Holtsville park a few times. Located in port Jeff station. Anyone have suggestions of a park or inexpensive museum?

I am in PJS too. My go-to spots with my daughter (now 2) are the Comsewogue Library, Heritage Park, down Port to stroller walk and look at the big boats, the aquarium in Riverhead, the Game Farm, Cedar Beach etc. Have fun!

Middle county library is awesome. Tons of toys and activities inside and out.

we like to go to the yaphank/ suffolk county cooperative farm.
on a regular day (non-event) it is free, open 9 or 10-3pm, and very quiet-- you just sign in and walk around the farm.

We enjoy it there too. It's a bit of a drive for us but I like that it's a legit farm (as opposed to White Post)

Love it there too but I'm not sure I'd want to push a double stroller around there on a super hot day.

I looked into it. Looks nice and I'll plan a day, today there was like 5 different things on the event calendar. We walked by the boats in port Jeff for a little while and hung out in the shade and I brought a blanket for them to hang out and lounge on! It was nice!
