Anyone use a bento box for kids food?
Dd is starting prek in the fall. I have to pack lunch and two snacks. I'm spoiled by daycare and have no clue what to pack. Looking on Pinterest the bento box seems the way to go but I have no clue which one is good. I got her the funtainer thermos and hot food container and I love those so far because I can pack her Mac and cheese and it actually stays hot. Please give me tips. Good thing she can bring peanut butter so I can give her that at least one day a week but she gets bored.

Anyone use a bento box for kids food?
To add she is picky. She likes her cold food, cold and her hot food, warm. They will not heat up any food.

This won't solve your cold/hot issue but we use the yumbox and my DS loves it. It's easy for me to pack because I just fill the compartments and it's easy for him to open his whole lunch in one step.
Oh and most importantly, it's easy to clean

I also like the yumbox. I like that the biggest compartment can fit a whole sandwich.

We have a couple of Yumboxes, they are great. Funtainers keep your hot food hot, but obviously not a bento

I use to use one for DD and they were great. When I needed to get a new lunch box it no longer fit LOL so make sure your lunch box can fit the box.

We use the funtainers. I pack lunch in easy to open separate containers. Also in our school they want snack and lunch packed separately, so you'll need 2 containers.

Anyone use a bento box for kids food?
My son gets a bento box with snacks for lunch at school every day, VERY picky eater! I use the Pottery Barn Kids bento box and they have held up so nicely for 2 school years now! They fit into the Arctic Zone hardbody lunchbox. You can find it on amazon or be sure to stock up when back to school items become available,Walmart carries it every year.

i have a yum box for my daughter. on the days she doesnt buy lunch at school I use it. She loves the variety...i add fruit, goldfish/pretzels, pasta, marshmallows, whatever i have in the house. She thinks its so fun to open it and see all the different foods. It's easy to clean...it goes right in the dishwasher
