Do you guys know the book "if you give a moose a muffin"-?
Cuz that's how I feel
Every
Single
Day
I start out doing one thing, turn around and then woah I start something else, not finishing the first, making a bigger mess that there was in the first place!!!
Just now I brought up a laundry basket into the kitchen. Stared folding. Realized the time so i stopped folding and started pumping. Washed the pump. Washed the other few things in the sink. Dish towel was dirty so I brought it to basement and threw it by slop sink. Looked at stockpile shelves "oh. Orange cups. Kids need that for snack tomorrow." Brought them up. Made lunch for kid tomorrow (we are going out tonight and will be home late- not gonna deal with it in the morning ) Then oh hey lemme make sure his school bag is packed for tomorrow. Go to school bag near the front door. Shoes all over. Lemme straighten those up. Found a sock. Went upstairs to put it in hamper. Found legos on way up. Brought them down. Went to tv room to sit for a minute cuz my back hurts. Turn around. Oh there's that laundry again....
Whoever said trying to get things done when you have kids is like raking leaves in a hurricane was right

Totally. That's my everyday too. My mind is all over the place. I feel like I'm constantly trying to do so much that I don't do anything very well at all. Never finishing anything. Like a disorganized mess or a hamster on a wheel but accomplishing nothing. I need a few clones of myself to get everything done!

Yes!! I have the whole series of booked at work. I feel that way a lot lol, and I never get a damn muffin.
