Please honor our Men and Women tomorrow and everyday.

so many people use this 3 day weekend as a time to shop, party and have fun, but Memorial is not a day to spend in the stores shopping for those sale. As nice as it is to have off, it's meant to honor and remember those who have and are serving our country and sacrificed. This includes their families. Without them, the simple freedom to shop would not exist.


Memorial Day: Honor Those Who Died in Service. Thank Those who Serve.

Memorial Day shouldn't be confused with Veterans Day. We honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice today and died for our freedoms. While on Veterans Day we honor all military personnel.

My kids had a half day on Friday so went over to a local Veterans grave yard to place flags. I'm hoping my family members receive the same gift as I couldn't travel to place the flags myself this year.

Please honor our Men and Women tomorrow and everyday.

I know there is a diff, I just honor both days the same.

I will be helping next weekend to remove the flags, I was unable to help prior. Is saddens me to see only you posted after so many read this post.

I don't know, but maybe I've been living abroad for too long. I just recognise Armistice Day. They don't do Memorial Day here. Armistice Day is Memorial Day here. But then again there are a ton of other holidays here...
