Legoland Florida
Has anyone been there? How was it? Where did you stay? we are planning a trip down there and aren't sure whether to book the Legoland Hotel or the Beach Resort. Both look really nice. Just looking for some feedback. We will probably be staying there 2 nights/2 days. Thanks

I haven't been, but looked into it. The Beach Resort is not right at the park, so I would skip that. Plus it's on a lake...and lakes in FL = gators, so it's not like you can even swim at the "beach resort".

we're actually looking to go this august- kind of "last minute" planning i think we're gonna stay on Disney, do maybe 2 or 3 days at Disney, then rent a car and do Legoland for the day. so our "home base" will be Disney

Re: Legoland Florida
We are going and staying at the LL hotel in a couple of weeks. The beach resort looked cute but I preferred to be closer to the park. I'll write a review once I return.

Re: Legoland Florida
We were leaning towards the Lego land beach resort. So glad we called for info. If you stay at the beach resort we were told you don't have acces to the activities at the hotel. It's only for hotel guests. We though the beach resort was cute but decided on the hotel (more $) so that we can see the shows and spend time at the hotel if the weather is rainy.

Re: Legoland Florida
We went in December, and stayed on Disney property and then did a half day there. My DS liked it but I can't see spending 2 days there, it's a small park, we finished it all in a half day along with a couple shows.

I went last May. I only went for the day. My DS loved it. He was 4.5 at the time. We did the entire park in one day without rushing (not the water park). We had low crowds so there were little to no lines. You definitely don't need more than 2 days.

I thought Lego land was lame. My kids loved it bc they love Lego. I could not imagine staying there. It is absolutely nothing like Disney or universal.

Re: Legoland Florida
We went in February. I thought it was a nice park. But lines were long and we could have used more time. We did it as a day trip from Disney.
Wanted to add google Florida pta for discount tix. Not sure if they had multi day options but the one day price was $35. Do not have to be a pta member to use.

My kids love the LEGOLAND hotel - they really enjoy the entertainment at night - they have a theme to build each night and a building competition and then they play games and act out a story with kid participants. - we have stayed 2 times and they love it- the room themes are great. We did 2 park days and that was great with the waterpark - we only did the waterpark one day - the park is not huge but nice sized. the only complaint is no wait times available on an app but they are working on that they said. Also as the kids do the show you can sit and eat at the bar restaurant or just enjoy a drink. Service at bar is slow though. I like being able to walk to the park
