switching the kids bedrooms- need advice

This summer we want to rearrange the bedroom situation. We have 3 bedrooms on our second floor, and a 4th bedroom in the attic. The attic door is just across the hall from our bedroom, and it is up a very short flight of stairs. So far we know for sure, that the smallest bedroom at the top of the landing will be our youngest's room- she will be 1 in June. Our twin DD's, who turned 2 in March, will share the bedroom next to the attic. Our boys, 6 & 4, will share a room. Question is- should we put them in the attic, or move us to the attic, and give the boys the room DH & I are in now?
We are leaning towards putting the boys in the attic, since the girls are still so little, we will be on the same floor as them. Thoughts?

I'd put the boys in the attic. I'd rather have some lo's above than everyone at a lower level with adults above and not aware of what's going on.
