Anyone been with kids? Hotel on beach recs? Things to do? How many days would you stay?

I've been there with my daughter, she was a toddler at the time. ive also been 2-3 times without her, college aged. it is very fun. i don't have any hotel recommendations, we always rented a house on murrell's inlet down a little bit from myrtle beach. i would stay a full week!! there is the beach (main attraction to me), all the water sports (jet skis, kayaking, canoeing, parasailing, boating, fishing, etc.), a huge skywheel which is so much fun (like a ferris wheel but enclosed, most comparable to the london eye). I could spend days off the beach at broadway on the beach. tons of restaurants and shopping and activities. my favorite is the ripleys aquarium. for older kids they have the wonderworks museum. there is alot too see and do. you also have mini golf around and there are parks. One of the parks I went to had a beautiful butterfly garden. lots of places to eat and things to do. google activities near myrtle beach you will be impressed how many things there are to see and do, you can fill a week easily if you like to be leisurely.

We stayed at the Hilton in north Myrtle Beach. We also had previlages at their sister hotel, within walking distance, with a mini water park.
The hotel had two pools and was on the water for quick beach access. We enjoyed the pool bar for drink and quick food service.

We stay at the Myrtle Beach Resort - it's on the Surfside Beach border. It's nice because you can go north to Myrtle and south to Murrells Inlet very easily.
We've been taking our kids since they were babies. There is a lot to do there for kids of all ages. Water sports, water parks, dinner shows, beach.
We usually stay at least a week.

Yes we go every year. Lots to do with kids. We usually stay a week. This year going for 4 days due to work schedules.
