We just got a new puppy and named him Hudson. We are getting him a friend and getting another male puppy. We are trying to think of another NYC inspired name to go with Hudson.
I feel like he should be called River. Hudson & River
I wanted river dh hates it. He said he is never going out in our yard and calling Hudson River

Brooklyn Ellis Lex Bronx Liberty Rockefeller (Rocky for short)
ETA: We've also had a few pups named after NY Mets players. Right now we have a collie named Mookie.
We have a cousin with a lab named Jeter.
Were leaning towards Ellis just not sure of it sound more feminine. I'm trying to think out of the box and I feel like there should be so many NYC inspired names but keep drawing blanks
My friend's father was named Ellis. I always think of it as male
