Boston - Hotels - Kids
Hi..looking for recommendations for a hotel in boston - we will have our two kids with us. Looking for something that is centrally located. Looking at the Seaport hotel but just started.
Kids need a pool and we need it to be somewhat modern.
Thanks!!

I live in Boston and would definitely suggest looking at the intercontinental - excellent location, beautiful hotel. I don't know how great the pool is - I've never stayed there, but I frequent the outdoor bar in the summer It's right on the water and right by the tea party museum and the childrens museum. Very modern.
The seaport hotel and renaissance are both good choices, I think - but they are slightly outside of the main part of Boston. They are in the Seaport district which is a very nice, newer area of Boston that was completely undeveloped until like 8 years ago. They are like a mile from Boston proper.
Have fun, I hope you're going in the summer bc the winters suck! lol

We stayed at the Sheraton which was connected to a mall and we never wanted to leave.
The pool...is on a top floor with a retractable roof that opens to the city skyline and at night the kids were swimming under the stars it was amazing.

We stayed at the Sonesta in Cambridge. Perfect location since it's next to science museum and across from the mall. We used the subway too, which is an easy walk. Nice size rooms and overlooking the water so you have a view.

We stayed at the Marriott Long Wharf and really loved it. Great pool, and a great lobby where we spent some time having snacks and playing Uno with DD. It's next door to the aquarium and across the street from Quincy Market. Also close to public transit.
