Does Anyone Still Use Dr. Nataloni's Office in Mt. Sinai For Their Child/Children Since She Retired?

*PLEASE DON'T MOVE THIS POST*

Thought I may get more hits on here instead of on the parenting board.

If anyone still uses this office I'm curious if you are still happy there. I cannot understand how she in good conscience could have left her practice in the hands of Dr. Wolf, the most bizarre person I've ever met. She is SO unfit in my book. However, I do like the other two Doctors there, and the Nurses, so I'm debating on what to do. My DD has been with this practice since infancy and she is now 8-years old. The thought to move practices now seems stressful to me, but I cringe whenever I'm in that office now and watch Dr. Wolfe in action. I live in Medford and I've heard Peds First is great so if I decide to change maybe I'd try them.

Thanks

We go there, and I actually really like her. We were just there recently for my 18 year old's well check up. He has autism, and she is GREAT with him. She has also been good with my 10 year old. No issues at all for us.

Yes, I still go there. I was really sad when Dr. Nataloni retired...she was there in the hospital for both of my babies when they were newborns, and I trusted her immensely. That being said, I LOVE Dr. Moore and I try to only see her (I like Dr. Santos too).

I'm happy to hear that you've had a good experience but I find her so rude and condescending and the two times my daughter saw her she was too busy socializing with her staff and talking about her private life that she kept us waiting quite a while in the room and then came in so unfocused on us. I heard a few people in the waiting room chatting also about how insane they think she is and that they may need to change practices now. I guess we all have different opinions, but like I said glad your experience has been good. I do like Dr. Santos and Dr. Moore a lot.

Same story for me. I have pictures in my baby album of Dr. Nataloni holding my DD in the hospital. I was sooo sad too.

That's a bummer, but I have to say, this topic came up in my local community group, and other people weren't fans either. I personally never saw Dr. Nataloni...I think once or twice in our 10 years in the practice

We recently had to change for insurance reasons, but I was so sad when Dr. Nataloni retired. I had no problem with any of the other doctors in the practice though. If I could still go there, I would. But we're stuck with this Care Connect now and they don't take it.

When I make appointments I try to make them with Santos or Sarah the nurse practioner. Sarah is amazing!! I miss the old practice of Nataloni. Chat Icon

We are still going there but I agree - Dr. Wolf isn't great. She told me to take my 8 month old to an allergist for a persistent rash and fever. She said the fever (103 and up) was probably from teething (!?).

I took her to PM pediatrics when the fever spiked to 104 and the doctor there took one look at her and instantly realized it was Roseola.

I now try to see the nurse practitioners - I think they are all great or one of the other doctors.

We still use them- my DC are 5 and 3- I don't like Dr. Wolf, we usually see Dr. Santos who I really like. I did hear Dr. Aleyas may be coming back... fingers crossed!

I like Dr. Wolf but I know a few people are not happy with her. She has never been anything but professional and caring with my children. I would say if someone is unhappy with the Doctor who now owns the practice I would leave and find some where you are truly happy. Ultimately it is now Dr. Wolf's decision on how the practice is run and if you do not like her why stay?

I agree, there are a million other peds out there, I would never stay at a practice where I didn't like the owner. I get that it sucks to switch though. It's a pain to "start over". I did that when my son was 8 (switched TO Nataloni).
