Anniversary ideas
My DH and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary at the end of April. We took a day off from work to spend together and are looking for ideas of what to do. We used to go away every year that week before we had our son so I always get a little melancholy that we can't do that anymore. We don't have family or a babysitter so a night out or away is not an option. We basically have from 9-5 while our son is in daycare. Are there any restaurants or places we can go to on Long Island that will make us feel like we're not on Long island for a few hours? I've had suggestions to go to Port Washington or Hungtington but I'm not familiar with what there is to do there.
Thank in advance.

Does your reception hall serve lunch/ have a restaurant? Maybe you could do that?

Can you go out east? North fork? You can get brunch at love lane and maybe a couples massage at east wind.

How about a brewery? Great South Bay and the Oyster Bay Brewing Company have large indoor spaces, so they are good if it's chilly out.

Maguires in Fire Island. I feel like I am away when I am over there. Or even Fisherman's Catch in Point Lookout.
