Tell me some experience with it. Never had it before but think I have it now. I have an appointment set up with derm. I can't get rid of it. It'll look less red if I put on desitin but still there. What has worked for you and what hasn't?

Re: Excema

Taking a daily probiotic has cut down my outbreaks of it a lot.
The cream from the derm helped with flare ups, but it doesn't cure it.
I also had an over the counter steroid type cream that helped- any hydrocortisone cream... but again, it's not a cure.
It would act up when I was stressed etc.
The probiotic has given me the best results- I am taking it for my stomach but this is a nice side effect

Aquaphor has worked really well for me - the heavy duty stuff, not the regular lotion

O'Keefe's Working Hands!!!! I've suffered with it since I was a baby. I don't even use the prescription steroid creams anymore.

I use a specific one for IBS that I get on Amazon- it's called Jarrow Formulas Ideal Bowel Support, however i know other brands work as well- there was a thread recently about how a few of the ladies on here saw a difference in their eczema on probiotics and everyone was using a different kind.

Hydro cortisone twice a day to treat eczema. In between, keep a light, fragrance free moisturizer on it, like Cetaphil or Aquafor.

I'm glad it's working for you! I swear that stuff is a miracle. As I said, have had eczema since I was a baby, nothing has worked as well so fast and I like that is is not a cortisone...while cortisone creams are great, it's not really good to use long term . My mom had a bad spot of eczema on her body for a couple of years, prescription creams didn't work, I finally convinced her to try the O'keefe's - gone in two days. It is also just a great moisturizer too if your hands get wrecked in the cold weather like mine do.

Thank you so much! I had been trying everything. Never had this before.
