Birthday party and gift ... What are you giving nowadays
I go back and forth from gift cards to presents.
When I don't know what t0 get someone I end up usually just going with a gift card.
Honestly now I rather gift cards we have sooo many toys we really don't need any and while DS actually plays with toys DD really never does.
I try to match what someone gives my DC so if they give me a gift card I try to give them a gift card but I feel like I stress over what kind to get them.
So gift card suggestion paritcally for a 6 year old girl
will probably spend around 40-50 I am also OK with doing partial gift card and a toy or any other ideas.
(No gift card to disney that's what they have DD)

I love gift cards to do something vs. buy something. I've been giving gift certificates to a local pottery painting place. Also build a bear gift cards. Both are activities but they get to go home with something after.

I usually do target as it is convenient to my house and can be used for toy clothes anything.

My current go to gift are the Fairy Gardens. DD got one for Christmas and loved it and everyone i have given it to since has given me really good feedback.
Gift cards to Toys R Us or American Girl are good too.
Sometimes i also give a cute top from the Gap (with gift receipt).

I have given target before to the same person so don't want to do that again. Party is at build a bear so can't do that but I will look into the other suggestions. thanks

I have a friend with two daughters a similar age and had a joint party. I know they have so many toys and wasn't sure what to give. I ended up getting them a gift card to Benihana since it's an experience gift and something I thought could be fun for the whole family. This was my first time giving that sort of gift.
