Uber experience in Nassau county
Has anyone used Uber in Nassau county - not for an airport pickup - but for example to be picked up from a restaurant and taken home? I read that Uber was having issues with being ticketed for using their NYC license illegally in Nassau, so not sure if they are operating much on LI?

Uber experience in Nassau county
I used it in Suffolk to pick me up from home and bring me to a LIRR station and then from the train station to home - didn't have any problems

Yup! a few times now. Between weddings and random nights out its been a great thing for us.

I use it all the time - once I know my driver got ticketed at a LIRR station dropping me off, but i've used it many more times after that without incident.
(And I wrote a nasty letter to Nassau County about how much we need a service like Uber since our cabs are so sketchy and they keep cutting bus service.)
