I used to like days off .....

I used to enjoy days off from work. A day for me to do whatever I wanted or needed to do.
That is until DH retired.

I planned to deep clean today, get into the corners, move furniture, that sort of thing. He''s questioning everything I'm doing, up my azz, let''s watch something DVR'd, what''s for lunch, what''s for dinner, let''s go get the car washed, let''s clean out the garage.
I don't have kids, my 54 year old husband doesn't need to act like one.

I can't wait to go to the office tomorrow.

Oh I hear you. I am a SAHM and my husband started working from home almost full time and i HATE it. He is always up my ass, what are you doing, why are you doing that, are you making lunch. While I don't work, I am still VERY busy and don't have time for his stuff. The only plus side is that now he knows I wasn't just home eating bon bons all day.

My DH probably feels like you do lol- he's retired so when I have a day off I'm like, ok, let's go here, let's go do this. . . Totally cramping his style

ETA: DH is usually still sleeping when I leave for work, but every once in a while (like today ) he gets up before I leave and really messes up my morning routine

I work from home and when dH comes home 1/2 day sometimes he expects me to just go!
He'll call me on the way home and rattle of 12 things he wants to do. And I'm like uhhhhhhh I'm at target, then going to shoprite, then have to start a load of laundry and then put some time in on this project I'm working on.
He gets all huffy and then I find myself rushing through everything and putting stuff off til the next day

Annoying!!
